So, I’m throwing another 2017 book into this New Favorites mix. A book about misconceptions and a special friendship between a girl and an enormous beast. Todays’ book is Hattie & Hudson by Chris Van Dusen, 2017.

25 Days – Book 5: The Rabbit Listened
My next book in this New Favorites Picture Book countdown is one of the sweetest books I’ve ever met. A story about frustration, well-meaning friends, and the best way to truly be a friend. Warm your heart with The Rabbit Listened by Cori Doerrfeld, 2018.

What a fantastically fun book I have to share today! I’ve been waiting for this one to come out. It finally arrived and I am smitten. A story about a brother and sister’s day, including a trip to the zoo. The best part? Another favorite that came out last year, this book is so special. The perfect gift for any special little one in your life, our day 3 book is Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers, 2017.

But I did not see it until recently and I just love it so much, I have to include it as a beautiful gift-giving option! Today’s book is Round by Joyce Sidman, illustrated by Taeeun Yoo, 2017.

This is quite possibly my favorite new book from this year. (But who can ever choose ONE favorite picture book.) As the subtitle so aptly puts it, “A story about a simple act of kindness,” this beautiful book is wordless, simple, thoughtful, and a much-needed gift for everyone. I Walk With Vanessa by Kerascoët, 2018.
