And another week has passed with Three Books A Night. Thanks for reading! My apologies for the odd posting schedule this week. Will be back to normal next week hopefully. And stay tuned for September 22’s storytime pick. For now, I send you into the weekend with a few book links from around the web:
Free printable bookplates from Helen Dardik.

Great (old) interviews with Lauren Child.
A couple of great interviews with author and illustrator, Lauren Child, appeared in The Guardian in 2009 and 2010. Both great, fascinating reads. Child is creator of the Charlie and Lola series and also Clarice Bean, as well as a few others.
Fun Brothers At Bat story in Publishers Weekly.
Author Audrey Vernick created the book Brothers At Bat about a semi-professional baseball team of all brothers in the 1930s. Publishers Weekly shares some interviews with Vernick and a few fun photos of the surviving brothers.
Old advertisement about author Ruth Krauss.
I love this kind of thing! Crazy fun ad and informative about a special author. View the full ad and story over at Nine Kinds of Pie with Philip Nel.
See you next week!
