Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree Movie With The Muppets!

Just had to share this. Because I love Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree so much, I was shocked to discover that I had never heard of this Muppet version of the story. With Robert Downey Jr. and Leslie Nielsen alongside Kermit and other crazy Muppets… pure genius. It really is a great time. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it anywhere except YouTube. Not even the library had it! So, we watched the not-so-great quality of this video and enjoyed it nonetheless.

Perhaps I’ll purchase the real thing sometime for future enjoyment.

(I do have to say I was a little annoyed that they changed the story a bit (owls instead of foxes and rabbits!), but I understand why and can appreciate it as its own thing. I’m just such a book purest!)
