Review: Magic Ramen By Wang & Urbanowicz
There has been an interesting theme in some of my recent favorite picture books: food! We have a handful from the library currently and are just adoring them. And bonus, several of them include recipes too! So this week, I’m going to take some time to review our favorites (and hopefully we’ll try the recipes too!)

How do you talk to a kid about losing someone? How do you explain what it feels like to grieve? I’m relieved to say: there’s a book for that. I’m happy to say that today’s book was one of those books for me. I spied this on the lower shelf of a bookstore and I couldn’t walk away from it. I just had to pick it up and read it and it didn’t let me down. A delightful story about a little girl’s first recital and her exciting and magical discovery that completely calms her nerves. Take a peek at The Piano Recital by Akiko Miyakoshi, 2019.
