Still working on that second book review for the week. I’ll have it up soon hopefully. Today’s Friday links are going to be all related to one illustrator who seems to be hitting the children’s book world by storm, Jon Klassen.
His 2011 book, I Want My Hat Back, has shot him into the limelight.
In January of this year, Extra Yarn, was released which he illustrated for Mac Barnett. It has gorgeous scanned sweater illustrations.
And his latest book, This Is Not My Hat, came out this past Tuesday.
If I haven’t convinced you yet of his growing awesomeness, check out this heartwarming animation he created while in art school. It’s called An Eye for Annai.
